Surprise! Kindle Touch Won Let You Use 3G Browsing

Anyone looking to browse the web on their Kindle Touch should find a different device. Amazon's popular new ereader has essentially killed 3G web browsing as revealed in a sneaky post on Amazon's Customer Service forums.
In the post, the Amazon Kindle Team says:
[More from Mashable: Amazon’s $199 Kindle Fire Costs $209.63 to Make [STUDY]]
We apologize for the confusion. Our new Kindle Touch 3G enables you to connect to the Kindle Store, download books and periodicals, and access Wikipedia - all over 3G or Wi-Fi. Experimental web browsing (outside of Wikipedia) on Kindle Touch 3G is only available over Wi-Fi.
This means that 3G will work for aspects of the Amazon ecosystem but "experimental web browsing" (ie. anything else on the Internet) will have to be done over Wi-Fi. It's unclear why Amazon decided to kill 3G functionality if not to keep its users on its own sites. The announcement is especially unwelcome news for users hoping to check email or browse when on vacation (Amazon's 3G service works worldwide).

The Kindle Keyboard 3G will still allow for "experimental web browsing" over 3G and Wi-Fi.
The rest of the forum comments have been surprisingly civil with most users debating whether to stick with Kindle's other, 3G-enabled devices.

Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch

As many of you probably know, today is the “epic” day when the Samsung Galaxy S II will be announced for US residents. This is no small deal; we’ve been waiting for this device since its release last April. We’ve been patient enough. Our chance to get our hands all over the Samsung Galaxy S II has–almost–finally arrived.

Only a few hours before the long-awaited announcement, Samsung has outed information on Sprint’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II. This device will be called the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, and the specs seem to be similar to the international version. The only major difference is that this bad boy will have a stunning 4.52-inch display. This could be good or bad, depending on your preferences. That larger Super AMOLED Plus display should be great for media and games, though.

Aside from the screen, everything should be pretty much the same, including the 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. Another mentioned is an “Advanced Android Experience,” which probably includes that interesting-looking app drawer Samsung’s site displays. (Posted below).
Stay tuned for more details on this and the other Samsung Galaxy S II devices set to be announced today. Anyone grabbing this bad boy? Do you guys like the larger screens? Is it too big?
