WASHINGTON (AP) — Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc., the maker of cell phones, spent $530,000 in the second quarter to lobby the federal government on spectrum allocation, patent reform and other issues, according to a disclosure report.
The company also lobbied Congress on cable set-top boxes, another of its products, according to the report filed on July 20.
The amount is up slightly from the $470,000 that the Libertyville, Ill.-based company spent in the first quarter. It was split off from the old Motorola Inc. in January.
